Miss America Party

Mary held the Miss America Party this year at her home.  As always, there was incredible food (no one diets at this party).

Here are two photos from the party.  I should have had someone snap a full length shot of me for "What I Wore" because I loved my outfit.  I wore Cabi tank and lace top with Cabi jeans and accessorized with Sabika Jewelry from the Spring 2012 line.

Thanks to Beth Leska, who hosted the Cabi party wherein I purchased my outfit.  Best jeans that I have ever worn!

Armed Forces Foundation

Another well spent two days with "Uncle" Joe and Monika Finch volunteering for two dinners - one in Bethesda, MD and the second at McGuire Hospital in Richmond, VA.

The veteran in this photo enjoys dancing!  We had a great time burning calories after the meal was served!!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Another fun year!!!

So Thankful for family and friends!

We had a great time at Aunt Kay's during our annual Christmas Eve Dinner.  We are so thankful that we live so close and it is easy to see at least some of our family.  (We are not so lucky with my side - my sister and Mother are in North Carolina and my father spends Christmas in Florida)

During dinner we had piano entertainment by Dallas, Dakota, and Lisa!  John acted out a portion of Caddy Shack (who doesn't love that movie!) and I sang the Lord's Prayer.

We had loads of fun opening the very funny and creative gifts during the white elephant exchange (it is the time of year to get rid of weird things in your house).  My favorite is when Dakota opened the gift with the nude statutes - at least they really were artwork!
