Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Another fun year!!!

So Thankful for family and friends!

We had a great time at Aunt Kay's during our annual Christmas Eve Dinner.  We are so thankful that we live so close and it is easy to see at least some of our family.  (We are not so lucky with my side - my sister and Mother are in North Carolina and my father spends Christmas in Florida)

During dinner we had piano entertainment by Dallas, Dakota, and Lisa!  John acted out a portion of Caddy Shack (who doesn't love that movie!) and I sang the Lord's Prayer.

We had loads of fun opening the very funny and creative gifts during the white elephant exchange (it is the time of year to get rid of weird things in your house).  My favorite is when Dakota opened the gift with the nude statutes - at least they really were artwork!

Can you tell that my husband hates taking photos ;-)

Merry Christmas

My husband's family came for a visit before Christmas Eve.  This is the second year that they visited just prior to Christmas.  We really enjoyed our fantastic dinner at Florentino's (the best restaurant in Newtown) and had some ice cream at the Zebra Striped Whale.

After dinner, we took one group photo.

Another Year at the Chunk - Part 3

I took several hundred photos and could have easily taken more!!!

Here are some more photos from this year's pageant!
These two are close friends and entered together.  They were so fun to watch on stage!!!
So excited to be Mrs. Newtown International!  I will be competing for the title of Mrs. Pennsylvania International 2013 this coming March!

How adorable is Kim (our judge); she was making sure the crowns were ready to wear ;-)---photo by Kim
We had a special crown created just for Frank.  We wanted to do an on stage presentation, but Frank was a little busy this year - so we missed him emceeing the pageant. ---photo by Kim
