The day started with wedding gown shopping, continued to enjoy Longwood Gardens Lights at Christmas, and finished with a delicious dinner at the Gables.

Christmas Decorating and Heavenly Angels Pageant

I attended the Heavenly Angels Christmas Pageant on Saturday in Danville, PA. I can't even begin to say how wonderful this pageant is. If you want a practice pageant, you can't go wrong with Heavenly Angels, Couto Pageants, or East Coast USA.

Check out the beautiful winter scene background that Grace James (the director) had.

I have to say that I almost wished I had entered the pageant - you should have seen the prize table (I should have taken a few photos!).

On Friday night, I finally attempted to finish decorating our Christmas tree. I do not, to say the least, have my mother's decorating talent. Oh well - mom will be visiting in a few days - she can re-do the tree to make it look a little better :-)

As for the mantle, this is my Hallmark Nostalgic Houses collection. I have been collecting this ornament series since 1984 and have every ornament and special edition issued. This year, a commentartive snow globe was created, which has every ornament in the collection on it. All I have to do is add this year's ornament!

Thanksgiving in North Carolina

I only took a few photos because Future Uncle Hubby and Aunt Marci were way too busy playing with Marissa and Hailee.

Enjoy the photos!

ANGIE WON MRS DELAWARE AMERICA!!!
Enjoy a few photos!
Susan does some finishing touches on Angie's makeup before the show.

One tired son and one great father and husband (you can't even imagine what pageant husbands go through for their wives :-) The Happy Family after Angie's big win!

The Jersey Connection and me. Susan, Mrs New Jersey United States, and some Mrs. New Jersey United States contestants (Danielle, Kimberly, and Mary) came to support Angela.

Another photo in front of the Christmas Tree!

Former Mrs. Delaware America 2005 (and now Director of Mrs. Delaware America) and Mrs. Delaware America 2007.

What a night! I am so tired and yet still so excited. The competition was very tight. All of the contestants did a wonderful job and the pageant was a pleasure to watch. It was organized and the emcees were terrific. Stage, lighting, and production were all wonderful.

More Christmas Preparations!
This is one of the Christmas gift baskets that I am creating. I was thrilled when I found the crystal ornament that matches the bow. Meanwhile, Soon-to-be-Hubby didn't quite understand why it took me four hours to go shopping at the Wal-Mart that is twenty minutes from the house :-)

AND - THE FINISHED PRODUCT - BEAUTIFUL!
You can see the Christmas Tree through the window even better than the previous photos.

Although my inside decorating is not yet complete, here are some photos of what Soon-to-be-Hubby did outside. You can also see the Christmas tree through the windows, which is lit up inside. The photo with me was taken last Saturday night. The second photo was taken tonight by me. Can you believe it is about 60 degrees here!!

DECORATING FOR CHRISTMAS

Tis the season.  Soon-to-be-Hubby did a terrific job - he purchased the outdoor decorations after we both consulted a few internet websites. As always, Target wins!!! We need to purchase a few more trees. So far though, at night, these pieces look wonderful. There are also icicle lights on the house, but we need to buy more to complete the entire house.

Below is our nine foot Christmas tree - just purchased today! It comes pre-lit (praise the Lord).  Soon-to-be-Hubby put it together, now it is my turn to start the fluffing and decorating process.

LOVING TIME WITH FAMILY This past weekend, Soon-to-be-Hubby and I visited my hometown of Hollidaysburg, PA. Soon-to-be-Hubby met my sister, brother-in-law, and two nieces. We all enjoyed the PSU v. Michigan game as well, though it is too bad that PSU lost.

Beaver Stadium. We had box seats, and this is an area where people with box seats can sit outside. We were right above the student "white-out" section.

Heavenly Angels Pageant, September 30 to October 1, 2006
http://www.heavenlyangelspageant.com/;

This past weekend, Angela and I competed in the Heavenly Angels Pageant. The director of this pageant, Grace James, is an incredible woman. She runs a fun and fair pageant.

Angela walked away with the Beauty title in her division and I won the overall pageant (my combined scores were higher than anyone else in the pageant). Angela and I were both thrilled with the prizes that we won!!

Here are some photos from the event.

ENGAGEMENT September 16, 2006

Soon to be Hubby proposed to me during a weekend trip to Skytop in the Poconos Mountains.

Friday Night - Late arrival due to my being in Family Court pratically all day.  Soon to be Hubby had planned to propose at night - but with a 10PM arrival, we were both pretty tired. Heck - I was still in my suit from court.

Enjoying my ring at lunch - he proposed about fourty minutes before this photo.

Me by one of the waterfalls on the Skytop Property. There were so beautiful.
