Mrs New Jersey United States 2013

It was so much fun to return again to the Mrs. New Jersey United States Pageant and watch another great production by Chris and Michelle!

I always love being treated to Michelle's melodic voice and it was especially exciting this year because she is pregnant!

Congratulations to Joy Carmack, the winner.  Special Congrats to Melissa Smith - she was again the first runner up (and was 3rd runner up at the Mrs. PA International Pageant with me this year).  I love Melissa and was so excited to see her; she looked beautiful and performed flawlessly on stage!

At five feel tall, I find that my best looks are solid color well-fitted dresses.  I add jewelry to being the eye upwards towards my face.

Miss Middletown (DE) MAO Pageant

I had a great time judging the incredible ladies competing for the title of Miss Middletown!  Two local titles were awarded today, but I hope that the other contestants keep competing because it was a tough pageant!  Congratulations to Jamila Mustafa - Miss Middletown and Alix Gardner - Miss Mid-State!

It was wonderful to spend time with Melissa, Kim, Maurene, Ellen, Catherine, and Fran.  And I had a great conversation with Shana during the ride home.

I was thrilled to see Ellen return to pageantry through her title, Mrs. Tour de Cure, which allows her to promote pageantry and diabetes awareness!

Alzheimer's Association Polo Classic

We could not have asked for better weather this year for the New Jersey Alzheimer's Association Polo Classic!

Once again, I was asked to sing the National Anthem and was honored to assist this incredible organization.

2012 Mrs. Delaware United States Pageant

Congratulations to all the contestants at the Mrs. Delaware United States Pageant.  It was a great year - as always!!!  So many terrific married women in Delaware - and it is a treat to get a chance to meet them and watch them on stage!

Autism Hopes Fundraiser

My husband and I enjoyed hosting Heidi Scheer (Ms. World International), Dr. Elizabeth McGhee (Ms. Michigan World International), and Mary (Queen Mother - and Stephanie's mother) at my home.  We had a great time at the fundraiser in Princeton and a lot of girl chat on Sunday morning!

Congratulations also to Evelyn (Mrs. New Jersey World International) for organizing such a fantastic event!!!!

Ro's 75th Birthday

It was so much fun to have everyone to our home - for the first time - Kevin's entire family was invited to our home!  Woo Hoo!!  My heart was singing the whole night!  And the best part was celebrating Ro's 75th birthday (and Fred's birthday too!)

Ski Weekend in Seven Springs

March 8-10, 2012

What a great ski weekend in fantastic warm weather (well for skiing that is!)!!!!  You could have almost skied without gloves.  The best part was watching Marissa and Hailee learn to take to the slopes!  I miss Seven Springs - it is really so beautiful on that side of the state; we just don't have those mountain ranges over here (and yes I love the Poconos, but it just isn't home the way the western part of the state is).
